To follow up our class discussions on The Khmer Empire, I thought you would like to see this image from National Geographic. I found it on the National Geographic Today for iPad app.
As you look at the image, try recalling the the satellite photo we saw of the area around Angkor-Wat. Much of what this civilization did remains out of view and we wait for discoveries, like that revealed by this National Geographic image, to offer due praise to a society long gone.
