I’m sure my students would cringe upon reading the title of this post. As distasteful as it may sound, I do think some of them will find the premise fascinating: History can be ‘quantified’. Perhaps the day will come when the course of human events can be expressed mathematically. Oooooh noooo! What is the world becoming?!
