Welcome to Mr. V’s ‘New’ home for the 9th grade World History & Geography course of Stuyvesant High School. The idea for a website and the original incarnation in 2000 was developed by former students of mine. These wonderful webmasters, however, graduated in June ’02 and left me holding the ‘tech bag’. This is the most recent of many revisions since the site’s inception.
The site’s role in providing pertinent course information for first and second year high school students remains unchanged. I will continue to tweak the structure and content as time permits so that it will continue to enrich classroom instruction and add depth to student preparation for standardized tests. The material presented and the manner in which it’s organized continues to be heavily influenced by New York State’s mandated curriculum.
